The US baby website Nameberry.com have put down a list of the most popular baby names for the first half of 2016. The list of Nameberry is based on which names attracted the most page views on their website. The rankings may predict which names will be used most for new babies in the near future.
There’s a new girls’ name at the number one spot of the baby-girls list: ‘Olivia’, and ‘Ezra’ holds his place at number one of the baby boys’ popular names list, a position the name also claimed in 2015.
‘Charlotte’ used to be the baby girls’ number one name for 2015, that name now is at the third spot. Five new baby girls’ names entered the Top 10 in 2016: ‘Arabella’, ‘Adeline’, ‘Aurora’, ‘Mia’ and the Italian name ‘Isabella’.
No changes in the top five baby boys names: ‘Ezra’, ‘Asher’, ‘Atticus’, ‘Declan’, and ‘Oliver’. Just two names are new to the top 10 in 2016: ‘Wyatt and ‘Levi’.
Short names and Biblical names tend to be the trend, and these names are perfect to place on our wooden toy trains, especially when you choose the best font for them. A wooden train with a baby name is a perfect babyshower gift! The name train fits all common wooden railway tracks and trains of other brands like Thomas the Train, Brio, Melissa and Doug or Ikea.
